MCP readiness checklist for Shopify merchants

Start with legibility, not prompts

Before tuning prompts or ad copy, confirm agents can read your store:

  • Public product pages render clean text (not image-only descriptions)
  • JSON-LD product schema validates on top SKUs
  • An llms.txt or equivalent discovery file points to canonical URLs
